This story from the midwest:

 A Wisconsin school has banned
clothing made by Billabong because of the name's last
syllable.
    A "bong" is a marijuana pipe.
    The principal at Winneconne High School says
that word should not be advertised in school.
    "Billabong" is an Australian aborigine word
referring to a
lagoon or backwater. The company that uses the name
makes
surfboards and has its own line of clothing.
    One student who wore a Billabong T-shirt the first
day of school
says the ban is ridiculous. He says he wonders if the
school will
ban shirts with the word "potato" because it has the
word "pot"
in it.
