Sister City

To Linda and all, 

Sorry for the defensive reaction on behalf of the existing Moscow Sister
City Association.  I spot read most of these discussions and had not
selected the original comments about sister cities and computer parts,
etc., to spot read.  

My intention was to make sure that everyone knows about MSCA.  You all
might want to note that it is quite a struggle to keep it going.  A core
has driven it for years and although the community is marvelous in
requested support for our projects, new blood would be very satisfying! 
Quintuplying the labor and dividing the pie is interesting, indeed.  

Anyway, no offense to anyone over a great idea.  International
relationships should be actively sought and nurtured, especially in our
current climate of increasing intolerance.

MSCA will have a yard sale early in September.  More info later, but anyone
who has some good goodies is welcome to drop them off after the third week
in August.  Our current effort is libraries for school children in Villa El
Carmen.
