Visionaries,
I appreciate those who have chosen to respond on this important issues of
firearms safety and availability. I would like to have an open, honest and
thorough discussion of the issues of firearms ownership and use in American
and Idaho.
It is an emotional topic. I will make an extra effort to lead w/ my head
instead of my heart. My hope is that we can get beyond name calling,
labeling, and mind reading. I believe that this is an issue in which people
of goodwill disagree. Let's disagree if we must, but let's have a civil
discussion with the intention of gaining a new respect for each others core
values.

And you make this assertion based on what? Comments you read in NRA
publications?
I don't think you know "most" proponents of gun control, and wonder how you
can represent their ultimate goals.
