I remember the Wren House Cafe and how pleasant it
was to have a cup of coffee there, and visit with friends.
It angers me that it was demolished for a thoroughfare,
but now the property apparently will not be used for that
purpose.
I suppose, though, that the traffic to and from the cafe would
not have been compatible with the on-rush of traffic on
the revised south couplet, had the cafe remained.
In that connection, the possibilities of a "fast food
restaurant" at, or adjacent to that piece of property
(as mentioned by, but not promoted by, Linda Pall)
seems appalling to me. Why must every piece of
property on a throughway be devoted to another
set of ingress-egress curbcuts for another motor
business????
Yes, instead, let's beautify that entrance to Moscow's core.
