        Perhaps....
        ...Meanwhile, we could walk and ride bikes more. The few dollars
saved could improve and expand bike and walking paths across town, and
subsidize use of the vehicle(s) only when weather and time require its use.
        (A reminder to myself, not anyone else....)

Dec. 31, Central Oregon on Highway 97: Regular is $1.10 at a Texaco
station, and that's probably not the lowest price in the vicinity.
