RE: Wow!



Being a former student of Sue's as well as a staunch conservative I must
concur with her statement below.  While I also disagree with her on this
issue -- she will always have my respect.

students, "I
	give you my respect--you don't have to earn it, but that doesn't

	can't lose it.  However you will never lose it for what you think,

	say--but for what you do or don't do."  People can disagree in a
respectful
	way.  I try to do that.   I guess I would say that if my thoughts on
the
	Clinton impeachment caused you to lose your respect for me, there is
	nothing I can or would do about that, for I feel as passionately
about what
	I said as you obviously do about this message.  I am sure others on
this
	list serve agree with your observations about the events of the past
few
	weeks but I feel fortunate that none of them wrote to tell me my
opinions
	make me unworthy of their respect.  (Actually had you ever met me,
you'd
	have probably recognized my liberal bent and the issue of respect at
this
	point would never have come up.)
