of Dogs and of Liberty

>Get a grip. It's the folks who are doing something wrong that have the

But in finding the wrongdoers, it is NEVER acceptable to trample the rights of
the citizens. You may not understand the concept of liberty. In theory,
we're supposed to be protected from unreasonable searches like the ones
propsed in a county of the State of Idaho. In theory, this isn't supposed to
happen.

What's next? Will the dogs search for firearms? That's a logical step. I'm
a lawful gun owner and have a permit to carry. I shouldn't be subject to a
search just because I went to Albertsons to buy a gallon of milk. Liberty is
supposed to prevent my government from treating me in such a manner. (I'll
remind you that only 50 years ago our country locked up all Japanese people.
Our government isn't always good and doesn't always target the "bad" people.)

>Funny how people cry about their rights being violated but when
>something serious occurs, its...."How could you let this happen" and " Where
>were you"

This I'll agree with. But the solution, in all cases, isn't that the
government needs to do more, running roughshod over our rights. The solution
is that the citizens need to comprehend that Liberty allows bad things to
happen. Our whole justice system is predicated on the concept that it is
better to let a criminal to free than to lock up an innocent man. Think about
how crazy AND wonderful that is. That's Liberty.

However, in the US, it is easier to police people than to educate them...
