Re: critical mass bike ride
Is this one of the critical mass bike rides, a la the one in San Francisco
that coincidently takes place on the last Friday of every month, designed
to disrupt motocentric traffic in a defiant statement that the public
should (according to the critical massers) be riding bikes instead of
driving motor driven vehicles? The clear message I receive from the S.F.
movement is that bicycle riders pay no attention to traffic laws put in
place to ensure safe and efficent transit and they have no respect for
other drivers sharing the roads.

Critical Mass ride. The ride is designed to celebrate bicycle
transportation, and to point out to the motocentric masses that bikes
belong. See you there with your bike at 3 pm sharp.
