Re: Speaking of "Toxic Palouse"

This is one of the concern's I have for this type of communication media.
Rumor's and scare information can be disseminated so rapidly that people
become terrified and panic with garbage information. If you want
information about plant protection products on the Palouse or anywhere
else please talk to someone who is informed and knowledgable on the
subjects and practices. People have all kinds of agendas. Remember, the
dose makes the poison. Table salt is more toxic than many of the crop
protection products that are used. Human protection and animal protection
products in some cases are more toxic than plant protection products. The
drugs you use in humans and animals are also "pesticides" and you are
careful with them right? Plant protection products fall under the same
"principals". Many natural toxins in the environment are more toxic and
in some cases are used naturally and commercially to control pests of
plants, animals and humans.
I hope anyone who has questions will inquire of knowledgable and
experienced professionals who live and work right here in the Palouse at
the local universities or crop protection service companies.
