Moscow City Entrance Clean-up Day this Saturday
Visionaries,
This Saturday, June 27th, Moscow Mayor Marshall Comstock is leading a
clean-up effort on the land of three property owners at the north end of
Moscow. Several groups have pledged volunteers for that day, but more
volunteers are needed to remove trash and other debris.
Organizers are asking volunteers to meet at the Rosauer's Parking Lot on
North Main Street at 8:00am. Transportation from the parking lot to the
site will be provided. Water and lunch will also be provided for
volunteers. Latecomers are asked to also go to the lot and meet a bus to
take them to the site (in order to avoid cars parked along the highway).
Several trucking companies will provide heavy equipment for larger items.
Volunteers should dress in good boots, pants and be prepared for the
weather. Contact 883-7000 for more information.
