I was sad to learn of Norma's death.  In addition to the attributes Lois 
describes, she brought a bipartisan spirit of cooperation to legislation she 
worked on.   She also had a good sense of humor -- necessary if one is to be a 
Democrat in the Idaho Legislature.   Moscow will miss her.

Norma Dobler made an incredible contribution to this community and to this
state. She was widely respected, by members of both political parties, and
she was a true friend of public education. She was intelligent, savvy, and
dignified.
