Folks,

It would be an outrage for the personally-demeaning and slanderous material
(not to mention spam) that has appeared on this list to be curated for the
world to see for an indefinite amount of time.

Teeter's idea of having our outstanding moderators cull the archives is
excellent. I'm on another list (galapagos network) that is very
controversial and open, so we get lots of personal attacks and spam that
advertise for what appear to be porn sites. The moderator simply does not
store those, and it works well, and there have been zero complaints. If
that ends up too controversial for this list, then just drop the archive.

By the way, I have an agreement with a foundation that for everyone who
sends me a dollar, I get a dollar.
