If folks haven't seen it yet, you must run out and rent THE FULL MONTY.
Tom and I watched it last night and laughed our heads off. It is
absolutely hilarious and quite charming. You can see an English town
rallying around "our boys" in the unique way they do so, whereas nothing
like that would ever happen in the States . . . you'll see what I mean when
you watch it. Rated R for language and nudity.

One caveat: we in our household have frittered away many hours watching
Monty Python and Black Adder, so we got most of the slang, and there's a
lot of it. Even so, the Yorkshire accent threw us off from time to time.
Having said that, I think even Anglophobes would be able to follow the plot.
