Our son turned 17 this month, and maybe that's why we received a letter
"To the parents of: ..." for him to obtain a MC credit card.

Have others experienced this?

I was aware the market has actively pursued the college crowd, but this
seems a bit much. The offer emanated from Capital One of Richmond, VA.
