I agree with Toms views about the pool. I haven't been paying much
attention to this, in fact this is the first I have tooned in to. But I
cant imagine why people would want a sencond covered facility and the same
town. It is hard enough to get children off the couch and away from there
sony play station to get some fresh air. The only other place for
children and families to enjoy the outdoors together, in tow, is the park.
And we all know that parks and playgrounds only meet the needs of a small
percentage of the population.

Also regarding the size of the pool. I agree a larger pool is necessary.
If you are going to bother to undertake such a huge task does it not make
sense that a little 'vision' into the future size of Moscow be in order.
I would think that people are beginning to tire of the quick fix method
that has been employed by previous planners. A great example would be the
first revamp of Washington and Jackson done som many years ago. Look at
what a mess that has turned out to be, and know years later it is obvious
that there wasn't much thought of the future growth of Moscow. So more of
your money will be spent to again try to remedy the high-volume traffice
from 95 and the Pullman Highway. Do you really want to spend the money
building a pool that in 10 years will be insufficient to meet the needs of
the people.

If you are so concerned about building a facility that will facilitate
more people perhaps you should begin looking at a multi use facility that
will offer those young people who wouldn't be caught dead in a swim suit
a place to gether. Yes I am refering the kids in the 'square'. Here is a
dilema that is way past due for concideration. But that is another
conversation.

Anyway, lets use a little 'vision' and for once do the job right the first
time.

Peace be with you,
Kay. Across the wall of the world,
A River sings a beautiful song. It says,
Come, rest here by my side.
