Vision 2020 would seem to have more to lose than to gain by joining and
supporting other organizations. Why can't individual members of V 2020
bring issues to the attention of all of us? More pointedly, if Smart
Growth is an organization with admirable goals (and I think it is), there
must be many other organizations that many of us feel the same about --
and I doubt that Vision 2020 will be more valued and effective after it
joins some and doesn't join others.
