I wonder if there isn't some alternative to a strictly public bond issue,
which is why I asked my question yesterday. I do think the cost estimates
are critical to getting good public input on which design is the best, so
yes, I'm glad the pool committee is attaching numbers to each option. But
can the capital investment be financed with a combination of bond and loan,
for example? Or a public private partnership? Lean public spending is good
.. how can we supplement it for a nicer facility? -- P Salant
