And I would add:  without me having to drive them there.
I may be jumping the gun here because the committee may eventually 
ask us this question , but for me, where the pool will be built is 
as important as what will be built.
I'm not a big pool user myself, but I want to feel comfortable in 
letting my 11-year-old child walk or bike there.  I would not feel 
that way if the facility were built in the present location of 
Ghormley pool because of his having to negotiate downtown traffic.
While I imagine that many of us would like to have the pool within
two blocks of our homes, that's probably not likely to happen.  
However, I think that it should be built where the majority of 
Moscow's citizens live--i.e., east of Main St. 
In this planning process, as much thought needs to be put into how 
the pool's most likely users (I assume children and young adults, 
though some research on that would be nice) will get to it as is put 
into what they'll find when they get there.
