Kitterman Attack/Enforcement Priorities

Maybe it's time to re-prioritize some of the local law enforcement
strategies. Why isn't there a Quad-Cities Violence Task Force? I would be
interested in how effectively tax dollars are being used to actually protect
the public from VIOLENT CRIME and prosecute same. What about environmental
crime?

I'm convinced that the way judicial system resources (including law
enforcement) are utilized is a national problem as well as a local one.
Since V2020 primarily focuses on local issues, let's start there. It's not
the most pleasant topic to discuss. And questioning the status quo can be
hazardous. (Just ask the Sandpoint citizen who wrote a letter to the editor
a few years back and ended up having his trash can searched by local
authorities.)

But isn't it far more dangerous to ignore a problem that, it could be
argued, is contributing to the bankruptcy of our society both economically
and socially?
