I am so outraged after reading Fritz' article I can hardly type. I =
certainly hope this will be the first letter published by the Daily News =
and that there will an angry outcry from an indignant citizenry. The =
cavalier attitude of the police department is incomprehensible, or is =
this just a rogue cop needing some education? Seems as if one must be =
armed to be safe as a pedestrian in this town. Why is there not an all =
points bulletin out to apprehend these criminals who should be deported =
back to wherever they came from after they get out of jail. If this =
isn't a clear case of assault and a punishable crime, I don't know what =
is. What is the attitude of the police department and the prosecutor's =
office on this matter?=20
