School Board Elections

I apologize for not responding to Susan's post sooner. Yes, the Moscow
School District Board of Trustees are holding elections for three of the
five zones this May. All three incimbents are running for reelection. A
Trustee will sit in on an average of four meetings per month, plus several
smaller committee or smaller sessions. There is also a great deal of
reading to keep up with and the one to one communications with parents and
patrons.
The zones open and the incumbents are:

Zone Two Three Year Term John Danahy running for reelection
Zone Five Three Year Term karen Falke runnign for reelection
Zone Three One Year term Joe Geiger running for reelection

Joe Geiger was appointed to the Board in January and has to run for
election at the first opportunity to finish out the term for which he was
appointed.

If you wish to run, you must live in one of these three Zones, You
must get a form from the District office, and turn it in tomorrow with five
signatures of people living in your zone. The other option is to run as a
write-in, but check with the District office because I believe there are
some new time restrictions for write-ins.
