Hey, y'all. This is an outgrowth of the HempFest of the last few years.
It's big, and it's fun. It's also the weekend before the Renaissance Fair,
so if you've got something happening at that, it should be easy to extend
your efforts to this as well.

> You are invited to attend, display information, rouse public
>awareness on environmental issues and celebrate Earth with us on April 26
>and 27, 1997 at the East City Park in Moscow, Idaho.
> Come join us for the first annual Earth Fest Celebration this
>year. The intent of the festival is to celebrate Earth and the beauty of
>life, provide information on environmental issues, and promote sustainable
>alternatives to our current life-style.

> The two day event is intended to inspire everyone to realize their
>connection with Earth. There will be music, food, vendors, environmental
>groups, workshops, speakers, information on progressive companies and
>research projects, and whatever other ideas people want to bring. This is
>a take-off from "Hemp Fest" which has been held for the last three years.
>Last years Hemp Fest drew about 3-4000 people. We plan on making Earth
>Fest bigger and more inclusive, so this should be a good venue to "spread
>the word."

> We are looking for groups, speakers, vendors, artisans, and
>"Earth-friendly" people. If you are interested in taking part in Earth
>Fest, please respond as soon as you can with information on your self
>or group and what you would like to share. If you have any questions or
>comments, we appreciate those as well.

> Send your responses to Garrett Clevenger:
> email: garrett@wsunix.wsu.edu
> or call (208)882-4329
> Hope to hear from you all soon!
