In a country where the sole employer is the State, opposition
means death by slow starvation. The old principle: Who does not
work shall not eat, has been replaced by a new one: Who does not
obey shall not eat.

That is exactly why we must find some way to limit growth!!!
The way things are going now, the two will one day meet. Perhaps not in
our lifetimes but that of our children and there children...... , but it
will happen. Of course that is how I have always felt, I am sorry to
say, but many of you on this list where the beginning of the growth issue
this community now faces. However, is there any real way to stop
progress? Even if growth could be impeded at this time, it will not stop
growing. Because, someone will come along and find ways to ammend any
ordinances that may be in effect in order to achieve there directive.
It is a bit of a fatalist veiw. But, If Columbus hadn't been responsible,
someone else would have.
It's something to think about.
