I suppose that one of us needs to introduce into discussion what
may be among the biggest news items of the summer--Randy Frisch, editor
and publisher of the Moscow-Pullman Daily News is leaving for Salt Lake
City.
There have been several previous discussions (if not flames) regarding
the role the Daily News plays in developing or undermining sense of
community. Moscow Vision 2020 has offered services in a variety of previous
transition events in the area (e.g., community planning in Eastside
Marketplace, Latah County rural residential zoning, input into the
Business Park, and so forth). Is there a place for community voices
in the transition at the Daily News?
