I'd like to know what you all thought of the other radio stations'
coverage of the flood.

It seemed to me that after the spate of dispassionate public service-type
announcements in the early am, KRPL and Z-FUN went dormant. I learned
the most from the country station at 1450 AM (is that the station in the
tower dispute?). Only there did I hear the requests for volunteers
in all our towns and where we should go to volunteer. They were explicit
about roads and travel, and they ran long interviews with local public
officials.

I love NPR and don't love country music, so it was strange to feel the
strongest sense of community from 1450.
