Moscow Vision 2020 is looking for someone interested in joining the
Steering Committee to replace Susan Palmer, who resigned because of
other volunteer commitments.
The other two committee members are Priscilla Salant and Mark Becker.
I'm helping Mark and Priscilla plan activities until Susan's replacement
is found.
The time commitment is minimal... up until now, most of the "meetings"
have been held via e-mail. However, since Mark doesn't have an e-mail
address, there will have to be an occasional face-to-face meeting.
The main function has been to organize a monthly meeting, speaker or
forum -- usually the second MOnday of the month. Most projects -- such
as the 3-part business park series -- are carried out by subcommittees,
with the steering committee helping to publicize them.
If you're interested in learning more, or know someone who might be able
to help, please contact Mark, Priscilla or me.
The term is for one year (through the end of '96), though it might be
possible for someone to serve just six months and thus divide the
position with someone else.
