A couple of small points:
First, with respect to substance, I had overestimated the "competition" from
the Pullman Park. I thought most tenants were probably on the verge of
moving to Pullman since no space was available here. From what I heard
yesterday, at least one tenant haven't even looked into the Pullman Park, so
it must not be the perfect alternative.
Second, with respect to process, I was happy to see the good things that
come from face-to-face conversations between people affected by such a
project. None in that room was hostile or confrontational, just very very
interested in learning the facts. I think we've all learned a lot from how
debate on this public issue has evolved.
And that is thanks toall the people who have organized this series and our
previous forum.
