Carole,
Thanks for your answer to my inquiry. I did not know or remember,
for example, that I was filling the unexpired term of Debby Turpin
as an at-large delegate to the board.

Hi, Steve,

It took me awhile to get to your message from among all those that
showed up over the weekend! :-)

In response to your question, the Moscow Chamber appoints one member
to the Board (Howard Marquardt), the University appoints one member (Jerry
Wallace), the City appoints one member (Bill Bode) and the County appoints
one member (Shirley Greene). All other positions are at-large.

The terms are for 3 years. You were elected to fill an unexpired
term, replacing Debby Turpin when she resigned. One-third of the Board
positions become vacant each year. Those people whose terms end on March
31, 1996 include Howard Marquardt (the Chamber will decide whether to
reappoint Howard or select another representative and the other positions
will be selected by a vote), BJ Swanson, Barry Ramsay, Jim Haynes, Steve
Cooke and Jim Pilcher.
