Although it is a bit late, the record should be clearified a little.
The candidates kicked in a little money to cover publicity costs. But, ALL
of the operations cost of the SHUTTLE is being born by Moscow/Latah Public
Transit. Operation of the SHUTTLE costs about $21/hour, so this is a
substantial project for them.
Wouldn't it be great if they got some thank you's for providing this
service? It only takes a minute....
BTW I rode the SHUTTLE from the Beanie-Weenie to the Fairgrounds. It was
convenient, on time, quick, friendly. There were three other passengers on
my trip.
Scheduled, fixed-route public transit. Right here in Moscow. What a concept.
