Thanks, Bill. It's merely a philosophical aversion to
punitive sanctions, preferring reciprocal empowerment (and
discipline) strategies that require creating altogether new interaction
scripts. My methods are derived from Stephen Pfohl's genius regarding
deviance and social control.

An added bonus was that Diane, the domestic violence victim,
felt enormously empowered by speaking publicly for the first time.
The DJs were so moved by her, they were literally tongue tied. She
is responsible for far more success than I.
