We are looking for anyone interested in volunteering with the Paradise
Creek Restoration Project, **particularly tomorrow** (Wednesday). We are
trying to get a couple of in-stream log/rock structures finished before our
designer heads back to Portland. If you have time between 8am and 5pm
tomorrow (even an hour or two), please consider coming out to the site near
the corner of Sixth and Mountain View Streets in Moscow, to help with the
various tasks.
If you can come, wear grubby clothes and consider wearing boots
(particularly if you are willing to work *in* the creek). If tomorrow just
won't work for you, please come out another day and help. We are there
every day through September and probably into October. There is plenty of
digging, raking, drilling, sawing, hammering, lifting, and carrying. There
are even a few desk jobs on site for those not inclined to do physical
labor.
For those with absolutely no time but equipment to loan, we can use extra
wheelbarrows and shovels.
