At a meeting this week, I met Carol Daly, who was instrumental in the
Flathead county planning process. She gave me a copy of the draft
master plan document that was presented to the planning board and county
commissioners, and subsequently ratified. If anyone wants to see it,
perhaps we could make copies. Let me know.
For those of you who might not have heard about Flathead County -- their
planning process was done on a massive scale with enormous public
participation. It has received wide publicity, not only bec. of the
scale but the angry reaction from people opposed to planning, right at
the end of the process.
