Dear Visionaries,
A student in the dept of landscape archecture developed a series of
planning maps for Moscow, ID that are available on the World Wide Web.
For those plugged into the web, look under www.uidaho.edu then point
and click on the "departments" and then under "Art & Architecture,"
then "Landscape Architecture," then "student projects," then "Moscow Idaho." Voila!
Maps include Moscow Land-ues Comprehensive Plan; 150-meter Hydro
Buffer; 3-D Perspenctive of Moscow City Limits; Highly Suitable Areas
and the Low-density Residential Zones; Highly Suitable Areas Outside
Buffers; Moscow City Limits w/ road system, et al.
To me, these maps could be the basis for applying the Arendt's
envisioning-the-future-with-the-existing-zoning-code exercise.
