The Moscow City Council held a public hearing tonight on a proposed land
exchange that would give the city a nice large piece of property along
Paradise Creek for use as a linear park, in exchange for city-owned land
known as the "Patterson" property. I'm pleased to say that the five
Council members who participated in the discussion unanimously supported an
ordinance approving the exchange. For the two previous years, *linear
park* has come up as the number one goal of the Council. This is the first
time the Council has had a chance to show financial backing of that goal.
There should be an article in the Daily News on Tuesday. (I didn't see any
Tribune reporters at the meeting.)
That's it for now-
Pam
