Yes, I love that Stegner quote. In fact, sometimes I use one of the two
phrases -- either native home of hope or society to match our scenery --
as a kind of test in letters and other things. If people recognize it
and respond, I am cheered on.

I think that is exactly what the potential of the Vision 20/20 net, and
all social change organizations, are about. We are trying to build that
society.
