In response the queery regarding Oregon Tilths request for funds, please
excuse my bias, but I favor this dispersion of funds. Allow me to
elaborate: This allotment will extend the sustainable ag dialog ( ch 3,
funding opportunities, farm clubs, on farm research, farm bill...) beyond
the choir to currently unrepresented consumers and farmers in Oregon.
This would complement our current efforts to influence the state
strategic plan, develop a database of all positive agricultural
practices, and enhance the networking and collaboration of Extension,
NRCS, farmers, and University researchers. This is not just an attempt to
expand Tilth's membership coiffers.
