In this memo I will share with you all the goals that came out of
yesterday's workshop. I plan to enlist the help of Fritz to organize some
way for all the goals to be rated by you, so that I have that information
prior to the next goals workshop of the Council. The meeting yesterday
included not only the City Council, but also city staff and chairs of city
commissions, as well as a few other community people. (I'll include the
whole list of participants at the end of this memo.)
Please remember that this is not an "official" list of the goals, but my
own notetaking (which I did solely so I could report it quickly to all of
you!) The City Council will meet again in a few weeks so we can discuss and
prioritize all of the following goals. When you hear from Fritz in the
next few days, please try to make a quick response to the survey. Also
feel free to write to me individually if you want clarification on any of
the goals or if you have any longer comments that won't fit in the format
of whatever rating Fritz figures out. Okay, here it goes.
(These goals are in no particular order, except for the order of the flip
charts on the wall yesterday. I will list the goal first, then possible
action steps.)
