Moscow Vision 2020 will sponsor a second workshop on techniques for
community-based planning Tuesday, April 18, from 7 to 9:30 p.m.

This is a follow-up to a successful workshop conducted by Tom Hudson
on March 13. However, attendance at the first workshop is not a
pre-requisite to participation in the second.

Among the topics to be covered on April 18 are:
* Defining the issues.
* Identifying stakeholders.
* Building partnerships.
* Using a variety of communications vehicles.
* Building "champions" for the process.

The next workshop will use an actual planning situation as a case study.
Participants are invited to submit suggestions for the topic. The focus
will be on process, rather than substance since Vision 2020 has no authority
to do actual community-based planning.

The number of participants will be limited only by the size of the meeting
room (location to be announced later). However, advance registration is
necessary to assure that adequate materials are available.

As before, participants are asked to bring a snack or dessert. There will
be a $3 fee to cover room rental and photocopying costs.
