Thanks to everyone for your enthusiastic response to Tom Hudson's workshop
on non-traditional ways of involving the public in planning and growth
decisions.

We have filled up the March 13 workshop and already have 3 people on the
waiting list for a follow-up session to be scheduled later.
More than half of the participants are subscribers to the 2020 discussion list
so we should be able to carry on the dialogue via this forum, for the benefit
of those who can't attend in person.

Here are a few reminders for the participants:
1. TIME: 7-9 p.m., Monday, March 13. Please try to come a little early, as
Tom would like to begin promptly at 7.
2. LOCATION: American Legion Cabin, Howard STreet south of Third in Moscow.
Please call me at 883-3156 or e-mail to kbird@wsu.edu if you need more
specific instructions.
3. FEE: $3 to cover the building rental and possible photocopying hcarges.
4. FOOD: Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share at the end of the
meeting.
5. OTHER: You may want to bring a notebook to write down some of the ideas
about community-based planning.

Thanks again for the interest in this topic.
