It appears to me that's what needed in this situation is some mediation
and conflict resolution between the complaining neighbors (Robert Probasco
and others near the park) and the organizers of various musical events,
including Renaissance Fair (and Rendezvous in the Park).

This seems to be a case where regulation by local government is not a
good solution, and that what should happen is that the folks need to
sit down with each other, with a professional mediator, and talk in
a non-confrontational way about the problem of excess noise after dark.

Is this something the Martin Institute could help with? I hate to see
people choosing sides for a protracted legal battle when there is
probably a compromise that would satisfy everyone.
