Thank you, subscribers!

Despite the fact that by phone the Animal Shelter claimed not to have a black 
and white cat with no tail, a number of 2020 subscribers claimed he had been 
taken there. A site visit demonstrated that you were right and now he his home 
again. The shelter volunteers didn't realize he had no tail!

I am indebted to this forum for facilitating such a sense of community in 
situations like this.
