Commissioners Paul J. Kimmell, Loreca J. Stauber, and John A. (Jack) Nelson
met in regular session on Wednesday, February 21, 2001; the following
actions were taken:
Approved, signed and filed the Proceedings for the week of February 12,
2001.
Approved, signed and filed a request for Tuition Aid by Joe Dee Hodge to
North Idaho College.
Approved, signed and filed a request for a 6-month increment increase for
Ian I. Kern, Part-time Irregular Reserve Deputy, Sheriff, Department 04F,
Line 01, effective February 1, 2001.
Approved, signed and filed a request for a 6-month increment increase for
Joseph Sullivan, Part-time Irregular Reserve Deputy, Sheriff, Department
04F, Line 05, effective February 1, 2001.
Approved, signed and filed a request for a 2 year increment increase for
Diane K. Collins, Communications Specialist, Sheriff, Department 04D, Line
02, effective February 1, 2001.
Approved, signed and filed a request for a 4-year increment increase for

effective February 5, 2001.
Approved, signed and filed a request to hire Brian M. Hansen, Part-time
Irregular Tracker, Youth Service/Juvenile Corrections Block Grant,
Department 08B, Line 6, effective February 15, 2001.
Approved, signed and filed a recommendation by Compensation Committee for
Approval to change title and grade of Cooperative Extension Administrative
Secretary/Program Assistant, A06 to Office/Program Coordinator, A08/00,
effective October 1, 2001.
By Motion and Order, adopted Zoning Ordinance #225, amending the Latah
County Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance #29 as previously amended); repealing
section 3.03(E) and enacting a new section 3.03(E) in its place to clarify
that wireless telecommunications towers are a conditionally permitted use in
the Agriculture/Forest Zone; providing a new section (11.05) to regulate
wireless telecommunications towers and transmission facilities; providing
for severability; and providing an effective date, passed the 21st of
February 2001. Commissioners Kimmell and Nelson voting for, Commissioner
Stauber voting against.
By Motion and Order, convened in Executive Session at 11:34 A.M. on February
21, 2001, to discuss “Records That Are Exempt From Public Inspection;
Indigent,” pursuant to Idaho Code Section 67-2345 (1)(d). Adjourned at 12:17
P.M. Eight cases approved, six cases denied.
By Motion and Order authorized the Chair’s signature on a Memorandum of
Understanding with the South Latah Highway District to participate and
cooperate on transportation planning.
By Motion and Order, adopted the EMT Training Subsidy Agreement between
Latah County and county employees enrolled in EMT training.

Clerk/Auditor/Recorder.
