The late Bob Hamilton

I would like for anyone on this group who is a Lawyer
and knowledgeable about Washington State law to please
contact me.  I have some questions concerning
community property in Washington.

As you all know,Bob Hamilton (Hamilton, Lowe Aquatic
center).  He unfortunately did not leave a will and
the state is taking everything.  His worth is
estimated to be around 12 million.  His wife has been
left nothing, thus the reason for my inquiry.  I
thought that Washington state was a community property
state, if this is so then how can the state take Bob
estate.  Glenna has been allowed to stay in their
home, the home he built for her, but will have to move
out within the year.  She will get to keep only the
furniture.  Anyway, I will be anxiously awaiting a
reply to my inquiry.
