Congrats on the pool results...there are still design duties to be done and
planning questions to be answered. Now that the COuncil has authorization
for the bonds for a pool, the fine tuning and creation of a great project
with future potential can go forward!
NOW IT'S THE 1912 MOSCOW HIGH SCHOOL/WHITWORTH BUILDING!!!
The next question is whether the CIty and the School District can come
together and accept the generosity of more than 200 households who
contributed more than $160,000 for acquisition and planning for a community
center.
Thursday afternoon, May 28, at 5:30 P.M. the City COuncil and School Board
will meet to hammer this out. The City has talked about a senior citizens
center, arts center, home for a technology branch for the library, parks and
recreation expansion space, and much, much more. The City is willing to take
this "as is." Let's get this next important piece of community in Moscow on
the road.
