Melodie,

Absentee ballots are available now until election day at the Latah County
Courthouse at Fifth and Van Buren in Moscow. People may also still
register to vote provided they vote on the same day they register. (In
addition to the pool election, there are also absentee ballots for a
variety of primary races.) You are correct about May 26 as the election
day. Although it is the day after Memorial Day, it is one of four days
allowed by the state for an election. Hopefully, all of the people who
leave Moscow to find swimmable water will remember to vote before their
vacation.
