Government to name food brands that contain too much pesticide

(London) -- It's a naming-and-shaming list for British foods.
The British government intends to list food brands that are
found to have too much pesticide residue in them.
Britain tests foods for pesticide residues. Some four-thousand
types of foods get up to 80-thousand separate tests. And Britain's
food safety minister says full details of the tests will be made
public. He says offenders will be publicized by brand name as soon
as the results are in. And he says actions will be taken against
the grower and the supplier.
Offenders could be fined up to eight-thousand dollars or be
jailed for up to two years.
