Yesterday's posting concerning the Idaho Falls High School freshman
winning first prize at a science fair for his project on conditioned
responses was, as Greg Meyer said, sad.
But for me it was sad not only because he duped well-intentioned people
who would rather err on the side on caution, but because he was silent on
the other conditioned response that spoke volumes; those that didn't
