Cable to stay on at UI

I don't get the local newspaper, so maybe this is old news...
Tom Scott, a sports commentator in Boise writes
(http://www.ktik.com/story.cfm?id=1281&Story=News):
"Bowls aren't the issue at the University of Idaho. The coaching situation
is, and Tom Cable has now been assured that he'll be back for the final year
of his contract. On the heels of a 38-29 loss to Arkansas State that dropped
the Vandals to 2-9 on the season and drew less than 8,000 fans to the Kibbie
Dome, athletic director Mike Bohn has given a vote of confidence to Cable,
who is 8-25 in three years at UI. It'll be interesting to see how Vandal
fans handle this news, as many vehemently expressed on Idaho SportsTalk last
week that they don't want to lose any more ground in the battle for recruits
and respect."
