Greetings Visionaires -
Tim Lohrmann stated:
"Also, Tom Cable is in his third year. I believe he should be allowed to have
his own recruits as Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores. If after next year there
isn't some major improvement, then that should be it."
Hey, WAKE UP ! ! ! Over the past three seasons Cable is (5-6 in 2000, 1-10 in
2001, and 2-10 (after NMSU) in 2002) 8-26 for a .235 winning percentage. I
certainly would not be expecting a pay raise or vote of confidence from my
employer if I accomplished one-fourth of my responsibilities (unless maybe if I
worked for Tim Lohrmann).
We must cut our costs NOW. Releasing Tom Cable may cost Idaho some bucks on
the short term. The long-term (as in next season and the season after that)
could cost us alot more. If we keep Cable, I can almost guarantee you that
there will be more people on the field than there will be in the stands. If
that holds true, than we can expect to be ousted from 1A for failure to meet
NCAA home game attendance requirements.
I say that we should reward Tom Cable with a one-way ticket back to Colorado
right after the New Mexico State game. I will be there to support our seniors,
but I ABSOLUTELY REFUSE to provide any support to Cable.
GO VANDALS ! ! !
Tom Hansen
