Visionaries,
On Sunday 10/27/02 MOSCOW MORNING VIEWS, a talk
show on KUOI 89.3 FM in Moscow(web audio on KUOI.org)
will feature the following guests:
--At 9 am Don Harter, Extension Professor Emeritus
of Agriculture, and Nikela Ndebele, a UI student from
Zimbabwe will come on the air to discuss the current
situation in Zimbabwe. The two will discuss the
"land-reform" movement under longtime President Robert
Mugabe and the resulting widespread food shortages and
political upheaval.
Harter visited and traveled extensively in
Zimbabwe this past summer as part of a program
sponsored by the Citizens Network for Foreign Affairs.
Ndebele grew up in Zimbabwe and is currently
attending the U of I.
The guests will be on for both hours and there
should be time for call-in questions at: 885-6392
MOSCOW MORNING VIEWS is aired live every Sunday
